Nienke Dosa is a pediatrician with board certification in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Her clinical practice is the care of children with spina bifida, cerebral palsy and vision impairment/blindness. Nienke’s academic work is focused on community-based initiatives that support the transition to adulthood and inclusive fitness across the lifespan for people with developmental disabilities. She is also involved with a grass roots project called Arise Adaptive Design that brings together families and clinicians in order to develop low cost equipment solutions with and for people with disabilities.
