In partnership with Progressive AE and Disability Inclusion Solutions, the GUDC has developed a program for sites and buildings to receive certification based on best practices from a global perspective. Going forward, using the GUDC guidelines as a reference, we have instituted a program for Universal Design certification that establishes a benchmark for organizations  who realize the value of creating a truly accessible and inclusive work environment.  It starts with utilizing our custom Universal Design assessment checklist as the keystone document which identifies strategies and priorities including:

  • Strategies that are no or low cost with high impact to the user and organization, and
  • Strategies that are higher cost with relative positive return and impact to the user and organization

With this step-by step guide, learn how to become certified.
